Our Philosophy
At Waiting to Grow Preschool the educational philosophy is to nurture
each child’s ability to learn through play and hands on experience within
an environment that promotes learning. The program encourages
individual development of each child socially, physically and mentally.
Each child will learn to be proud of how unique and special they are by
realizing the qualities they possess through experiences. The program is
structured around the child. They will continue to learn their numbers,
letters, colors, days of the week, self-awareness and physical
development through play, hands on experiences and group or individual
activities. Each month has a theme and we base pre-reading, pre-writing,
art and pre-math activities on that theme. The goal of the program is to
support the children as they develop into confident, well-rounded curious
individuals ready for bigger challenges.
