Meet the Teachers

Jaime Jamieson "Miss Jaime"~ Owner
My professional experience working with children has been in
various settings such as schools, childcare centers, churches,
preschools and as a nanny.  I have always enjoyed working with
children because each day is a new adventure!

Following graduation from Catherine McAuley High School I
attended Saint Joseph’s College for one year, majoring in
Elementary Education.  I graduated as a member of the Alpha
Kappa Delta International Honor Society from the University of
Southern Maine with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and a Minor
in Elementary Education.  Currently I am pursuing a Masters
Degree in Early Childhood Education.

I have been married to my husband John since July of 1999.  We
built our home in April of 2001 and the school in 2002.  We have a
daughter Madelyn “Maddie” who was born in October of 2003.
We also have two small dogs named Grover and Jamo.

I love to do crafts, read, scrapbook and bake.
I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Jennifer Barry "Miss Jen"~ Three Day Teacher
I've been teaching at Waiting to Grow Preschool since the fall of
2007.  I have had many opportunities working with children in
schools, childcare, on the field, church and currently at Waiting to
Grow Preschool.

After graduating from Catherine McAuley High School, I earned my
BA in English Literature at St. Anselm College.  I reside in
Kennebunk with my husband, Tom and our four children-  two boys
ages 11 & 9 and twin daughters that turn 5 in September of 2009.

My hobbies include scrapbooking, gardening, reading and cooking.
I spend much of my free time enjoying my family and attending my
children's various activities- they keep me busy and I love every
minute of it!  Children are truly the best gift and I love seeing the
world through their eyes everyday.  I am very fortunate to be lucky
enough to truly love my job.
